Altimeter Terms of Use
Effective October 2, 2026.
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Omnaris LLC ("Omnaris") for your use of Altimeter. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License and acceptable use
Omnaris grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Altimeter for lawful purposes on devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer the app except where law permits it, circumvent access controls, misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate another person's rights.
For App Store downloads, Apple's Standard EULA governs the software license and takes precedence over conflicting provisions of these terms. These terms supplement that license with app-use and purchase information. Apple is not responsible for our support. Google Play downloads are also subject to applicable Google Play terms.
Safety and accuracy
Altimeter provides estimates from device sensors and location services. Readings may be inaccurate, delayed, interrupted, or affected by calibration, weather, signal, hardware, or settings. The app is not a certified aviation, surveying, navigation, climbing-safety, medical, or emergency instrument.
Do not rely on Altimeter where an inaccurate reading could cause injury, property damage, or a navigation emergency. Use appropriate certified equipment, maps, judgment, and safety procedures.
Purchases and subscriptions
Altimeter may offer the following paid-access options, with the final price and currency shown by the app store before purchase:
- Weekly subscription: US reference price of $3.99 per week.
- Yearly subscription: US reference price of $19.99 per year.
- Lifetime access: US reference price of $24.99 as a one-time purchase.
The store checkout controls the actual price, currency, available plans, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when a disclosed trial ends. Taxes and localized pricing may apply. Paid access lasts for the purchased subscription period; a lifetime plan is a one-time purchase.
Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed renewal price unless you cancel through the store. For Apple subscriptions and trials, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; renewal may be charged within the preceding 24 hours. For Google Play, cancel before the renewal date shown in your subscription settings. If a trial is offered, its duration and subsequent price are displayed before you agree. Price changes and notices follow the store's rules and applicable law.
Cancellation normally stops future renewals while paid access continues for the remaining paid period, subject to the store's rules and applicable law. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime access applies to this app and the store account used for purchase; it does not guarantee perpetual availability or a transfer to another store or app.
Use Restore Purchases while signed into the original store account to restore eligible access. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google Play.
Refund requests are handled under the relevant store's policies and applicable law: Apple refunds and Google Play refunds.
Availability and changes
We may fix, update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device. Material changes do not limit rights already provided by applicable law or the app store.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available." Omnaris disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omnaris is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on a reading. Omnaris's total liability relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Termination
These terms remain effective until terminated. Your license ends if you materially breach them. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will survive termination.
Consumer rights and disputes
These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies available under the law where you live. Any dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Contact support first if you would like us to help resolve an issue.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future use of the app and will give notice of material changes where required. Changes do not remove rights already granted by law or the store. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to:
